The ministerial decree which defines the driving ban calender for vehicles transporting goods with total weight exceeding 7,5t, provides for the following (not valid for abnormal transports):
Art. 2
- For vehicles coming from abroad and Sardegna the start time can be postponed for 4 hours provided that the origin of the journey can be proved.
Vehicles coming from abroad with only one driver, in case the daily break (EU directive 561/2006) coincides with the above mentioned posttransfer, are allowed to postpone the driving ban for 4 hours after finishing the break.
- For vehicles driving abroad the end time of the driving ban can be anticipated for 2 hours provided that the destination of the transport can be proved. For vehicles driving to Sardegna the end time of the driving ban can be anticipated for 4 hours provided that the destination of the transport can be proved.
In case the right preconditions are given and you need to drive during the banned hours, we can obtain a special permit to travel despite the ministerial driving bans.
